Copenhagen Fashion Week Fall 2025 was only my second time attending this city’s events – my first was last summer for the Spring 2025 edition. Back then, the weather was so warm that I ended up sunburnt while taking photos at the Lovechild 1979 show. Anticipating much frostier temperatures this season, I packed plenty of layers but underestimated just how cutting the cold would be. I also forgot gloves, and upon arriving, I realized my warmest hat didn’t match anything in my suitcase. Every season, I tell myself I’ll plan my outfits weeks in advance, yet somehow, I always find myself throwing everything together the night before my flight. Hopefully, I’ll be more prepared for London Fashion Week – though I’ve said that before.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Fall 2025 Day 1
The schedule included shows from OpéraSPORT, Forza Collective, Birrot, Bonnetje, Alectra Rothschild / Masculina, and Stel, though I wasn’t able to secure invitations to any of them. I would have especially loved to attend OpéraSPORT – Lindsey Wixson opened the show, and she’s been one of my favorite models ever since she began her career. Just recently, I was flipping through old magazines and came across the Miu Miu Spring 2010 ad campaign she starred in which is still one of my all-time favorites for many reasons – the collection, the photography, the simplicity of it.

I wasn’t too disappointed about missing the first day though. I had planned to shoot street style but decided to stay in and rest after a long travel day. Connecting flights are exhausting at the best of times, but they’ve become especially challenging now that I use a walking stick. Navigating an airport with only one free hand – pulling a suitcase, presenting a passport, paying for duty-free items, juggling coffee and water – is not easy. Losing some of my independence has been tough, but that’s a conversation for another time.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Fall 2025 Day 2
My first show of the week was Rolf Ekroth Fall 2025. Having attended the Spring 2025 show and loved the collection, I was excited to see the new season. My outfit: a long faux fur coat by Karen Millen, Peter Do boots, my thermal leggings (these will feature in many outfits, trust me), and my Kermit bag – I’ve owned this for about 20 years so understandably I can’t remember where I bought it.
The venue, Poolen, was a bit of a walk from the bus stop. Once everybody was inside and seated the show began – it was completely dark except for a spotlight illuminating the models. The soundtrack immediately made me smile as it took me back over two decades – Portishead’s It Could Be Sweet and Massive Attack’s Karmacoma – old trip hop that I used to listen to non-stop back in 1999-2003.

Walking out of the show I stopped somebody to compliment her on her coat – it was faux fur like mine but cream coloured and looked so fuzzy and warm. She asked to take my photo, and it turned out I was already following her on Instagram. She’s a photographer, and her shot of me ended up in NSS Magazine’s roundup of the best street style at Copenhagen Fashion Week Fall 2025. You can read the article here.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Fall 2025 Day 3

My first stop of the day was Kamo’s presentation, where models stood in the brand’s flagship store on Pilestræde, showcasing modern workwear and denim. Later, I made my way to Vognmagergade for the Baum und Pferdgarten Fall 2025 show, set in a large industrial space decorated with giant inflatable hearts.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Fall 2025 Day 4
My final day started at Designmuseum Danmark for the TG Botanical presentation, followed by the Munthe runway show—one of my highlights of the week. Since I needed to carry quite a bit, I brought my Troubadour bag, which had been gifted to me for fashion week. It fits my laptop, camera, lens, and all the essentials, and I dressed it up with a Cartier scarf.

My outfit at TG Botanical Fall 2025 and Munthe Fall 2025
For my outfit, I wore a frilled skirt (another piece I’ve had for over 20 years with no recollection of where it came from), a cropped Vivienne Westwood hoodie, and a black Zara polo neck underneath for warmth. The skirt was slightly too big, so I cinched it with a safety pin and then added a peacock brooch (from Accessorize) to make it look neater.
Right after the Munthe show, I headed to CIFF to find the niche perfume brands exhibiting there, hoping to discover new scents, collect samples for review, and make connections. After a couple of strong coffees, I started wandering the halls and quickly found myself with plenty of fragrances to try. I had a great conversation with the founder of Raaw Alchemy, who guided me through their collection and helped me choose two perfumes – Lobby Boy and Hazy Vanille.

My outfit at Rotate Fall 2025
Later, I returned to my hotel for a short rest before heading out again for Rotate Fall 2025. Since I didn’t need my camera and wanted to dress up a bit, I changed into a cape jacket from Karen Millen, a black mini skirt from Oasis, black tights, and a Jimmy Choo x Sailor Moon handbag. I also wore a statement ring by Alexander McQueen.
Rotate Fall 2025 was an amazing collection, with very strong looks, lots of textures, and a focused colour palette of not more than seven shades, two of which – Munsell Red and Sangria – were among the four key colours I predicted for 2025 in my trend forecast – read it here.

Next stop…
Following the show I quickly went to the hotel to pack as I needed to fly to Berlin the next morning for Berlin Fashion Week. I’ll write again in a few days time once that’s over.
