This afternoon I arrived in Copenhagen just in time to check into my hotel, apply my make up (That foundation doesn’t suit you at all! Remove it, reapply something different, be quick!) then rush off to the Rolf Ekroth SS2025 runway show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. I found a spot on the stairs at the end of the runway and sat down to wait for the show to begin.
The collection balanced floral prints with camouflage, pairing crochet details like bunny ears with military elements such as flight harnesses. This intriguing mix created a dynamic interplay between soft and tough aesthetics.
Garments featured metal piercings around the collar and over the nipples, adding a provocative edge. The combination of patchworking, crochet accents, and military details gave the impression of designs crafted from post-apocalyptic remnants, bringing together diverse materials in a cohesive and innovative way.
In a memorable final touch, the last set of models walked the runway with makeup that looked like wax tears, adding an emotional and visually striking element to the show.
