Graphic Impact – Copenhagen Spring 2025 Street Style Trends

One of the biggest print trends lately has been animal print, though I do believe it’s on the decline now. There were some animal print boots and clothes seen in the street style at Copenhagen Fashion Week but definitely nowhere near as much as was seen in previous fashion weeks’ street style. Animal print is a trend that has certainly peaked and I’d say is now on its way out, to be replaced by other prints. I recently wrote about wide stripes – a sporty style that ties in with tenniscore and the rise of other sporty styles like blokecore. I did spot some people in wide stripes and plenty more in sporty styles, and the wide stripe trend is still on its way up so it’s a good one to invest it now. I’m confident it will be a lot more popular soon, and I’m curious to see how the street style at upcoming fashion weeks in London, New York, Paris and Milan will confirm (or not!) my theories about these dwindling and emerging trends. Wide stripes were not the only stripes seen at Copenhagen Spring 2025, with thinner pyjama-style stripes and sailor stripes popular too.

Other prints of note at this edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week are text prints, and these tended to be of two kinds: bold or distorted, or neat and uncluttered. Florals were also popular, again in two camps: bright and loud (especially as seen outside the Marimekko show) or in neutral shades and smaller designs.
