Turkish fragrance house Nishane has opened a new boutique in Paris at 266, Rue Saint-Honoré, putting it on the same street as brands such as Goyard, Saint Laurent, and Valentino.
Spanning 135m², Nishane’s boutique features Marmoleum Cocoa flooring, an eco-friendly solution that combines Marmoleum ingredients with cocoa shells. On the walls, handmade Zellige tiles are used – these are crafted from natural clay and dyes, and are a sustainable but traditional choice.
Nishane (Turkish “nişane” meaning mark, sign or symbol) was founded in 2012 by Mert Güzel and Murat Katran, both from Istanbul, Turkey. The brand is now available worldwide and produces not just perfumes, but also hair oils, hand creams, and home fragrances.
There are lots of fragrances to choose from by Nishane; I’ve picked out five – if you like animalic ouds try Afrika-Olifant, for something fruity try Zenne, for a leather-based perfume there’s Suede et Safran, for white florals try Tuberóza, and for spicy vanilla there’s Ani.
