Todd Snyder Fall 2025 Menswear – 1980s Paris Reimagined
For his Fall 2025 collection, Todd Snyder was thinking about the way that Parisians in 1980s Saint-Germain dressed – the undergrad students in their shorts and neckties, the businessmen in their three piece suits, Serge Gainsbourg and his refined nonchalance. These personalities and archetypes were reimagined for the Todd Snyder Fall 2025 Menswear runway with luxurious fabrics, unexpected details, and rich jewel tones.
The collection features silk brocades, velvets and cashmere in emerald, aubergine, and obsidian blue, with double breasted tuxedos, oversized aviator jackets, grandad cardigans, and tailored shorts. There are both corduroy and monochrome suits, along with small but subversive details: a safety pin appears fastening a shirt collar and also as a lapel pin, while chains hang from the belt down the side of tailored trousers and shorts – both being subtle symbols of youthful rebellion.
The collection as a whole is a quiet rebellion – challenging the dress codes life imposes, proving that style is most compelling when it bends the rules.
