This is the final set of five brands in the Lyst Index’s Top 20 ranking, with the brands in positions 16 to 20.
The Lyst index ranks fashion brands by behaviour on its shopping platform, using data such as product searches, views and sales. It also tracks global social media mentions, activity and engagement, providing a top 20 brands every three months.
16. Balenciaga
Following their advertising scandal, Balenciaga’s catwalks and looks have been much more toned down, a total change from the previous logo-heavy clothes and heavily produced shows.

17. Skims
Last year Skims, co-founded by Kim Kardashian, Emma Grede and Jens Grede, was given a $3.2 billion valuation by investors, but this month the company has been given a new valuation of $4 billion.
Although starting as a shapeware brand, these items are no longer Skims’ main seller, with the brand having expanded into many new categories.
18. Nike
Nike has invested in the online experience with the release of virtual items on .Swoosh, and the launch of Airphoria, a metaverse game.
Recent collaborations include Sacai, Undercover, CLOT, Martine Rose and Fear of God.
19. Fendi
Fendi’s SS2024 menswear show was held on the production floor of the Fendi Factory in Capannuccia.
For Resort 2023, Fendi had collaborated with Tiffany & Co., Marc Jacobs, and others to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Baguette Bag. The Marc Jacobs designs were released as a capsule collection in May.
20. JW Anderson
JW Anderson’s second flagship store, and first in Italy was opened in Milan, on via Sant’Andrea, putting the brand in the company of Chanel and Prada.
The collaboration between Uniqlo and JW Anderson reached its sixth year with the release of the SS2023 collection.
