Dolce & Gabbana dropped out of the Lyst Index Top 10 and is now at Number 12, while Jacquemus has moved up four places from number 19 in Q1 2023 to 15 this quarter.
The Lyst index ranks fashion brands by behaviour on its shopping platform, using data such as product searches, views and sales. It also tracks global social media mentions, activity and engagement, providing a top 20 brands every three months.
Here are the brands placed 11th to 15th.
11. Louis Vuitton
For Nicolas Ghesquière’s Resort 2024 womenswear collection, the destination was a garden on Isola Bella, a private island in Lake Maggiore, Italy.
For the debut collection by new creative director Pharrell Williams, the brand hosted a star-studded SS2024 menswear show in Paris.
12. Dolce & Gabbana
Doyoung, of K-pop group NCT, was named Dolce & Gabbana’s ambassador for Korea and Japan.
The brand is also making moves in real estate, working with renowned developers on luxury homes in Florida and Spain, and a hotel project in the Maldives.
13. Diesel
Adjacent to its flagship store in San Babila, Milan, Diesel opened a store dedicated to its 1DR bag – this will remain open for one year.
Diesel appointed Matteo Lena as new CEO last month, replacing Eraldo Poletto. Lena’s previous experience includes roles at Giorgio Armani Corp., Benetton and Geox.
14. Burberry
Burberry’s share price rose 4.4% upon the appointment of new chief creative officer Daniel Lee, who previously held the creative director role at Bottega Veneta.
Along with a redesigned logo, the Equestrian Knight has been reinstated.
15. Jacquemus
Jacquemus’ marketing campaign featuring giant Le Bambino bags was a viral hit.
The SS2024 show at the Palace of Versailles tapped into 1980s flair.
