The Garment Spring 2026 unfolded in the Royal Stables – a space that has held history since 1740, now reimagined as a runway for soft power and quiet beauty. Creative director Charlotte Eskildsen drew on contrasts: the easy drift of cotton sheets in a garden breeze set against the steadfast permanence of sun-worn stone.
Silhouettes balance structure and fluidity – harem pants that move like air, sculptural dresses, tailored linen tuxedos, and sharp blazers recalling riding jackets. Gender is a suggestion, not a rule, as men’s trousers morph into easy jackets and ties become scarves.
The palette – butter yellow, espresso, Danish strawberry, faded linen, and black – mirrors a summer lived outdoors. Clothes not shouting for attention, but holding space for comfort, ease, and the long, golden hour.
