Pitti Uomo 108 once again proved that Fortezza da Basso in June is not just hosting a trade show, but also a runway to pay attention to. As buyers, editors, and stylists descend on Florence, the streets outside the Fortezza turn into a high-concept showcase of personal expression. This season’s attendees reaffirmed Pitti’s status as a prime spot for street style, where elegance and experimentation meet on equal footing. The Fashion Fold has put together a selection of the best street style from the event.
One trend was impossible to miss: neckwear in all its forms. From classic ties to sailor-style knotted scarves, accessories played a central role in defining each look’s silhouette. While Pitti Uomo is known for its formalwear roots, this year showed a broader interpretation of tailoring. The suit and tie remains a cornerstone of Pitti style, but it’s joined now by print mixing, brooches and pins, and standout colorways.
Monochrome dressing emerged as a subtle standout – whether in chocolate brown or head-to-toe black, these tonal palettes were offset by textures and subtle accessories. There were plenty of masculine/feminine crossovers: suiting in shades of pink, a tweed culotte-and-blazer set for example.
The sport and fashion crossover continued, exemplified by a lace Messi jersey. Street style staples like oversized eyewear, knits, and bold patterns served as reminders that individualism – not conformity – is what makes Pitti truly compelling.
This edit of standout looks – what The Fashion Fold considers the twenty best street style looks from Pitti Uomo 108 – captures the variety and creativity that defines the Pitti Uomo crowd. Whether you’re tracking trends or just seeking inspiration, these are the people who set the tone – before the collections even hit the runway.
