Taus Spring 2026 delves into the quiet resilience of women whose authenticity once placed them at society’s margins. Presented under Copenhagen Fashion Week’s NEWTALENT One To Watch program, the collection reflects on memory, identity, and the poetry of imperfection. References to Little Edie and Sinéad O’Connor anchor a narrative of defiance and grace, with garments fashioned from upcycled and deadstock fabrics – a creative choice born from necessity but embraced as a core philosophy. Pieces range from ethereal lace dresses and hand-dyed silks to structured military jackets and cropped trenches, balancing softness with strength. The presentation at Villa Kultur unfolded like an intimate tableau: models lounging barefoot in sunlit gardens, reading, conversing, and inhabiting the clothes with ease. In every seam and fiber, Taus honors the past lives of textiles while inviting new ones to unfold – garments as heirlooms of personal histories yet to be written.
