Officine Générale Fall 2025 Menswear was presented during Paris Menswear Fashion Week at Le Rouquet café, a 1950s bistro which – although renovated throughout the years – has retained its old-fashioned character. Having long dreamed of showing a collection in a café, Pierre Mahéo found the perfect venue in Le Rouquet, just a stone’s throw from his home.
Describing cafés as ideal locations for both people- and style-watching, this collection was conceived while seated at a table on a nearby terrace, drinking espresso surrounded by loved ones – whose advice he deliberately ignored. When told the trousers in his collections were becoming too wide, he presented even wider styles; he responded to observations that his coats were too long by shortening, making those expansive pants even more prominent.
With the fashion industry in a state of major flux, Pierre Mahéo felt it more important than ever to asset his point of view through design – a quiet rebellion staged over coffee in the calm setting of a Parisian café.
