When a Parisian house founded in 1849 meets a Hong Kong artist whose rabbit-eared creations have sparked a worldwide obsession, the result is a playful and fun collection grounded in classic shapes and motifs. The Moynat Labubu second collaboration with Kasing Lung was presented at Paris Fashion Week and is the second consecutive collaboration between the two, with the viral characters appearing on items ranging from the Hobo and Mini 48h to cardholders, passport covers, and charms.

To mark the Paris launch of the second Moynat Labubu collaboration, the brand opened its Rue Saint-Honoré boutique for an intimate meet and greet with the artist behind the viral characters. Guests gathered to explore the collection, which features Kasing Lung’s characters—Labubu, King Mon and Zimomo—reimagined and embellished on Moynat’s iconic signature M Canvas.

The event also celebrated the Paris arrival of Kasing Lung’s 10th anniversary exhibition, Monsters by Monsters: Now and Then.

Lung draws inspiration from multiple sources, combining Nordic folklore and mythology with cartoon and comic characters. The Monsters—a trilogy of books—was introduced in 2015, paving the way for this world of characters, collectibles, and collaborations.

About Moynat

Moynat was founded in Paris in 1849 by Pauline Moynat: she was the first and only woman of her time specializing in trunk-making and luxury travel goods. The ‘M’ monogram was introduced in the early 1900s and quickly became a signature of the house.
