The MM6 Maison Margiela Fall 2025 Menswear collection, unveiled as the guest designer at Pitti Uomo, delivered a fusion of rockstar glamour and indie edge: the collection explored themes of rebellion, decadence, and an understated darkness.
The color palette set the mood with deep aubergine purples, inky blacks, and stark ivory accents offering a striking contrast. Leather was key on this runway, with motorcycle-inspired jackets, fringed leather waistcoats, and bulky gloves adorned with utilitarian flap pockets creating a rugged yet polished aesthetic. Crystals and shiny suits brought an additional layer of rockstar opulence, transforming classic tailoring into bold statements of glamour.
Balancing somewhere between 1970s glam and the nostalgia of indie sleaze, the collection emphasized individuality and subversive style. MM6 Maison Margiela’s signature avant-garde touch was evident in every piece, blending unexpected textures and silhouettes to capture a spirit of freedom and defiance.
