At Copenhagen Fashion Week, Marimekko Spring 2025 delved into the theme of “The Anatomy of a Flower,” a concept that the brand will continue to explore throughout 2025. For this show, Copenhagen’s Opera Park was transformed into an immersive botanical wonderland, where a maze of winding paths allowed guests to experience the collection in a nature-inspired setting, with techno played by DJ Nene H as a backdrop.
A standout feature of the collection was the capsule collaboration with London-based artist Petra Börner. Part of the Marimekko Artist Series, this partnership pushes the boundaries of the brand’s printmaking tradition, introducing four exclusive artworks that added a unique artistic dimension to the collection.
Additionally, Marimekko expanded its much-anticipated Marimekko Maridenim line, introducing patterned denim pieces, including a jacket and shorts. The first Marimekko Maridenim collection will be available worldwide from August 6, 2024.
