Sensual party outfits and makeup merge with interview-ready tailoring at Ludovic de Saint Sernin Fall 2025 in a collection titled L’Entretien as the designer blurs the lines between corporate control and carnal allure. Inspired by the sharp sensuality of Helmut Newton’s photography, the collection reimagines power dressing with pinstripe wool, Glen plaid, and polished latex, each piece laced with a provocative edge. Pencil skirts and body-hugging dresses feature front-laced closures, walking the line between boardroom authority and after-dark dominance, while classic collared wool shirts reveal their hidden seduction – transforming into halter tops once the coat check is made.
LdSS’s signature sensuality finds its apex in this season’s elevated leather offering, developed in collaboration with LVMH Métiers d’Art. The house’s iconic silhouettes – like the Cleavage bralette and spaghetti-strap dress – are reborn in supple python skin, emphasizing the interplay of luxury and daring. Meanwhile, the meticulous craftsmanship that defined de Saint Sernin’s recent haute couture collection for Jean Paul Gaultier resurfaces in seamless lace evening gowns with hand-assembled metal mesh bust construction, as seen on Emily Ratajkowski at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
This exacting precision extends to sharply tailored princess-seamed suits with exaggerated shoulders, grounded by point-toed mules and boots courtesy of ZARA. But beneath the poised exterior, the collection carries a promise – what’s hidden under these polished layers is anything but modest.
