The Gucci Fall 2025 collection debuted at Milan Fashion Week on February 25th 2025, marking the first show since Sabato De Sarnoโs departure. The influence of two key creative forces was evident: Miuccia Prada (Prada, Miu Miu) and Alessandro Michele, De Sarnoโs predecessor at Gucci. With no new creative director appointed yet, the design team took a collective bow at the showโs close. De Sarno’s work and influence cannot be overlooked, but when commercial success (and company profits) fall short, a realignment becomes necessary – as this collection clearly demonstrates.
