Inspired by the evocative photography of Adrienne Salinger, particularly her In My Room: Teenagers in Their Bedrooms series, the Gams Note Fall 2025 menswear collection (shown at Milan Menswear Fashion Week) delves into the intersection of personal identity and intimate spaces, with the shirt as its focal point. It reimagines this wardrobe staple by blending traditionally feminine and masculine elements and juxtaposing outdoor-inspired aesthetics with the cozy, relaxed feel of loungewear.
A standout feature of this collection is its dedication to environmental responsibility. Fabrics are sustainably sourced from Japan, made from natural fibers, and incorporate surplus materials in a bold first step by Gams Note toward using upcycled textiles. This commitment aligns with the brand’s Made-in-Italy heritage, merging craftsmanship with modern eco-conscious practices.
The collection includes tracksuits with paperbag-style waistbands, paired unexpectedly with tailored shirts for a dynamic contrast. Fitted trackpants feature visible metal zips, lending a contemporary edge, while pinstripes, checks, and tartans bring classic elements into the mix. Appliqué techniques add depth and texture, while playful intarsia designs – featuring pixel art-inspired animals like elephants and snails – offer a whimsical nod to childhood nostalgia.
Gams Note Fall 2025 menswear is a thoughtful blend of sustainability, craftsmanship, and creativity, inviting wearers to embrace pieces that feel both timeless and refreshingly playful.
