For the Filippa K Fall 2025 collection, Creative Lead Anna Teurnell refines the brand’s vision of modern dressing with a collection that seamlessly blends Scandinavian practicality with nods to the British countryside. Presented at Copenhagen Fashion Week on January 30th, 2025, the collection is sophisticated and stylish, featuring some key Filippa K silhouettes such as the hourglass and the cocoon.
The collection is made to transition from day to night through the use of layering – in Look 7 a double-breasted coat gives just a glimpse of the lace shirt beneath, while smartly tailored trousers are hidden beneath an updated trench coat in Look 12. Tailoring makes a powerful statement, particularly through the contrast achieved in Look 9’s blazer with a cinched waist and exaggerated shoulders. Utilitarian influences appear denim and in a trench coat featuring epaulettes and a chin guard.
Contrasts in the collection are not just in the silhouettes: fabrics range from heavy wool and twill to fluid cotton, viscose and silk. Informal denim is paired with heels, a thick cable knit sweater is worn with a lightweight wrap skirt.
With an emphasis on ease, structure, and timeless utility, Filippa K Fall 2025 offers a sophisticated yet pragmatic approach to dressing, proving that practicality and elegance are not mutually exclusive.
