Coty Inc. has officially ended its partnership with Kim Kardashian’s beauty brand, SKKN by Kim, by selling its 20% stake in the company to SKIMS. This move means that SKIMS will now take full control of SKKN and bring its beauty and lifestyle brands together under one umbrella.
Anna von Bayern, CEO of Kylie Cosmetics and head of Kim Kardashian’s beauty business at Coty, expressed gratitude for the partnership and highlighted Coty’s role in shaping beauty brands. She also reaffirmed Coty’s commitment to Kylie Cosmetics, which has seen sales grow by 1.5x in the last two years.
Coty, founded in Paris in 1904, first invested in SKKN in 2020 and completed the deal in 2021.
