Begg x Co Fall 2026 arrives at exactly the right moment. Developed under the creative direction of Vanessa Seward, the pieces capture trends without the feeling of chasing them. Inspired by St Andrews—where windswept coastlines meet academic heritage—the collection is rooted in a very particular kind of Scottish sensibility. It feels cosy, without getting careless, and it looks elevated without feeling overdone.
The palette is immediately striking, and feels very current: deep khaki, turquoise, and blue that is almost Yves Klein. These cooler tones are offset by soft pastel pink, terracotta, and deep reds; neutrals including chocolate brown and grey bring everything together. Layering combines these colours perfectly: pink peeks out underneath brown, then khaki. Wide horizontal stripes bring together terracotta and deep blue in a rugby top-style mini dress; pink and munsell red in a long scarf.
Donegal cashmere pieces are flecked with colour to mimic the St Andrews landscape, are designed to be worn together or individually. The cashmere rugby shirt, a core style of the brand, are are updated this season with a cropped, fitted style for men, and an elongated mini dress for women. The Boyd sweater and jacket are created in a new cashmere/lambswool blend, which adds new structure and warmth with a distinctive bubble stitch texture.
Begg x Co Fall 2026 also sees the brand feature archival checks and tartans. These are worked as both jacquard on scarfs, and also as intarsia—with the tartan in an exaggerated macro scale—on the Buxley crew neck with matching mini skirt. Other graphic scarfs reference the national flag of Scotland, with the diagonal cross of the Saltire being reimagined in the subtle print of the Brock scarf. The Brennan self-fastening scarfs are a smart addition to the collection: these are wrapped around the neck by pulling one end through a hole in the middle of the scarf.
Celebrating 180 years of Scottish craftsmanship, Begg x Co Fall 2026 continues the brand’s tradition of collections rooted in sustainable craftsmanship: Begg x Co holds B Corp certification, reflecting a genuine commitment to responsible sourcing and manufacturing
