I’ve started mentally preparing for next February’s London Fashion Week already, and I didn’t really get to post all that much about this February’s London Fashion Week. While I was on my way to attend the AW2023 show by Asai I was stopped by a videographer and photographer from the British Fashion Council who wanted to get some images of my outfit which included a Vivienne Westwood jacket and a Jimmy Choo x Sailor Moon bag. I agreed, and then was surprised a while later when I was included in a street style recap on the official London Fashion Week instagram page. I’ve edited the video to show my outfit and handbag.
The jacket I’m wearing is the Aramis Jacket by Vivienne Westwood that I bought while I was working there. It was a size too big for me but I loved the style so much I got it and wore it as an oversized item. It already has an exaggerated shoulder silhouette so that just became even more extreme.
The handbag is from the Jimmy Choo x Sailor Moon collection that was released to coincide with London Fashion Week. There was a pop-up at Selfridges and by the time I got to it so many styles were already sold out but luckily they still had the Sailor Venus handbag – she was my favourite character from the anime.
