The Cecilie Bahnsen Bridal 2026 collection brings the house’s signature romanticism to the world of bridal, offering made-to-order pieces for the contemporary bride. Each piece begins with a private appointment – at the Copenhagen boutique or online – where fabrics, silhouettes, and personal details are discussed. The result is a bespoke, made-to-measure look, designed to be treasured well beyond the wedding day.
The romanticism associated with Cecilie Bahnsen is well represented in the dresses here: sheer organza and lightweight fabrics feature delicate floral appliquรฉ – soft, abstract blooms that float across the surface of the fabric rather than sitting flat against it, giving the pieces a three-dimensional quality. Some pieces feature cutwork florals with open negative space, where petals are formed by the absence of fabric as much as its presence, casting delicate shadows on the skin beneath. Elsewhere, sinuous line-drawn florals in tonal white-on-white trace across skirts and overlays like botanical illustrations rendered in thread.
The house codes are all here: romantic bows, voluminous balloon sleeves, and empire waists. A pale pink cardigan paired with a sheer embroidered skirt gives a lived-in look to bridal dressing, offering ways to wear the garment beyond the big day.
