The collaboration that shouldn’t work but somehow does is back: The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen have released their second collection, which premiered at Bahnsen’s Fall/Winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week. Like the first one, this one combines Bahnsen’s whimsical, hyper-feminine silhouettes with The North Face’s technical outdoor gear. It’s an odd pairing on paper – couture meets mountaineering – but it works.
The campaign was shot by Ellen Fedors and styled by Emelie Johanssen along the raw coastlines of Mølle and Kullaberg in Sweden. It features The North Face athletes including trail runner Ida-Sophie Hegemann and boulderer Melina Costanza, plus models, all moving through dramatic Scandinavian landscapes.
The collection focuses on warmth and layering. Each piece is distinctly Bahnsen – sculptural, feminine, refined – but still unmistakably The North Face with the quilting, technical fabrics, and that recognizable sense of function-first design. The colour palette is rich and warm, heavy on trending chocolate brown, which feels right for winter no matter where you are.
The collection launched October 30 and is available at Shopbop at the below link.
