7 For All Mankind Fall 2026 is the runway debut of the denim brand established in 2000. Presented at New York Fashion Week, the collection hits with the confidence of a brand that has always known exactly what it is. Under the creative direction of Nicola Brognano, that self-knowledge proves to be both the collection’s greatest strength and its most defining characteristic. The skinny jean — along with the skinny scarf, and a cast assembled in the spirit of the era — is back, and it has been given every reason to feel welcome.
The styling has a pleasing morning-after quality, clothes thrown together with the kind of carelessness that takes, one suspects, some consideration to achieve. It is a mood that will feel immediately familiar to anyone who spent time in the right places in 2005, and aspirationally familiar to anyone who wished they had.
The mid-2000s grungy festival aesthetic is the obvious reference point, though Brognano has been kind to it — modernizing it and tidying it up by adding brooches, wader boots, textured knitwear, and thoughtful touches of burgundy and chartreuse. The chaos of the original has been lovingly preserved, its edges just slightly softened for the occasion.
Whether one calls this a revival or a reintroduction depends largely on where you were when it all first happened. For the uninitiated, it will feel like discovery. For everyone else, it offers something fashion has always done rather well: the past, made to feel like it was worth waiting for.
