For it’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection, Self-Portrait leans into its signature codes while deftly weaving in current trends and 1960s references. The brand’s bows appear as bag charms and as lavallières tied at the neck, underscoring its playful femininity. A metallic dress, slashed dramatically to reveal an open back, features an abstracted animal print, while key print gingham features on bubble dresses – complete with on-trend straight neck and spaghetti straps – along with skirts and jackets. The collection nods to safari with dusty greens, wide leg shorts, and flap and pleat pockets, while A-line mini skirts and high-neck sleeveless tops evoke a crisp 1960s polish. It’s a study in balancing nostalgia with the now.
