Red is still a key colour in street style at London Fashion Week, though it is no longer trending on the Spring 2025 runways, with a more sombre palette on the catwalk lately consisting of neutrals, 1970s earth tones, though still with pops of contrast colours (I see coral quite a lot, and I’ve been noticing chalk mint too). The colour red however, has nowhere near the hold now that it had back on the Spring 2024 runways where it overtook pink as the key colour of the season. The peak for red has most definitely come and gone, meaning that it’s now time for you to invest in other colours in order to keep ahead of what’s trending on the Spring 2025 runways.
Cornflower blue has been a key colour on the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 runways, and while bold blue was another of the major colours for Spring 2024, it didn’t have as much of an impact back then as red did. Designers are moving away from those vivid blues of Spring 2024, and for Spring 2025 are moving more towards softer pastels and less bold iterations of blue including the aforementioned cornflower blue.
See below how attendees at S.S. Daley, Yuhan Wang, and other shows at London Fashion Week Spring 2025 are wearing red and blue.
