Anonymous Club Spring 2025 sees the New York-based design collective led by Shayne Oliver present at Berlin Fashion Week. Oliver is the co-founder and design director of Hood By Air; the brand was established alongside designer Raul Lopez in 2006 (Lopez now heads his own label, LUAR). Recognized in 2013 as one of the 25 Greatest Black Fashion Designers by Complex, Oliver now collaborates with a diverse group of artists including Izzy Spears, Christian Velasquez and Santiago through Anonymous Club, and for the past two seasons, Anonymous Club has presented here in Berlin, significantly enhancing the event’s global profile.
For the Spring 2025 season, Shayne Oliver concluded the first day of Berlin Fashion Week with “Anonymous Club Runway Show – Fantasia 2024: FREUDIAN GLITCH” at the Tempodrom, drawing an international crowd. The collection showcased deconstructed sportswear, layered silhouettes, and hooded looks, paired with either ballerina flats or boots. The show’s staging contrasted the gentle sounds of birdsong with intense, dramatic audio, transforming the runway into a mesmerizing art performance – an Oliver trademark that blurs the lines between fashion and art.
Some key trends for the Spring 2025 season appeared here – wide stripes, chalk mint, cornflower blue, and clothes worn incorrectly.
