The Lyst index ranks fashion brands by behaviour on its shopping platform, using data such as product searches, views and sales.
It also tracks global social media mentions, activity and engagement, providing a top 20 brands every three months.
Here are the top five.
#1: Loewe
For the first time, Loewe appeared at the top spot on the Lyst Index. The brand has been doing extremely well under its current creative director Jonathan Anderson, who has held this position since 2013.
The brand also did well in the rankings for ‘Hottest Product’ – its Anagram Tank Top was at number one, while the Raffia Tote Bag was in fourth place.
#2: Prada
Prada dropped a spot from first in Q1 2023 to second in Q2.
One of Prada’s current strategies is working on increasing in-store sales per square metre – the brand’s figures currently lag behind others such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
#3: Versace
Versace is up five places since Q1, more than any other brand this quarter.
The brand also launched its ‘Versace Icons’ collection, as well as ‘Versace La Vacanza’, co-designed with Dua Lipa.
