In his show notes for P.L.N. Spring 2026, creative director Peter Lundvald Nielsen speaks about his mission to “awaken nerves dulled by routine.” The collection features menswear unafraid to express femininity, silhouettes pulled this way and that, garments left wrinkled and rumpled in defiance of order. There is tight leather with a subversive edge, especially when accompanied by cross-lacing, and knee-high stockings appear throughout, sometimes with garters holding them in place.
Nielsen compares modern life to cattle sedation, suggesting that only through disruption – through chaos – can we rediscover what order has quietly erased. His clothing responds with calculated disobedience: sheer fabrics that expose, structured garments that collapse, and erotic restraint straps that blur utility and ornament. This is fashion as confrontation, as personal and political provocation. In its collision of elegance and abrasion, P.L.N. asks: what happens when we stop smoothing the wrinkles and start wearing them with pride?
