The OpéraSPORT Spring 2026 collection draws inspiration from Seoul’s contrasting character where serene tradition meets spirited modernity. Co-founders Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter channel the energy of the South Korean capital into a collection defined by softness, ease, and visual subtlety.
The season’s palette is lifted from pastel cityscapes – hues of sage, butter yellow, soft pink and blue, with crisp whites and a signature pastel green. These tones form the backdrop for a collection grounded in emotion and lightness, with a custom hibiscus print – a nod to Korea’s national flower – woven throughout.
Garments balance the architectural with the free-flowing: sculptural silhouettes, airy 3D florals, and tailored separates sit alongside sheer lace styles and reimagined hanbok forms. Notable highlights include a hibiscus-embroidered vegan leather jacket, a statement floral trench, and seamless pieces textured in delicate lace.
Set in Frederiksberg Badene, a swimming facility that mirrors the designers’ memories of Seoul’s skyline from their hotel pool, the show’s atmosphere underscored the mood: contemplative yet current. Footwear is in collaboration with Havaianas, showcasing the footwear brand’s debut 3D-printed flip-flops, developed with Zellerfeld.
OpéraSPORT Spring 2026 remains grounded in its principles: sustainability, inclusivity, and seasonless appeal. As always, organic and recycled materials form the collection’s core, proving that conscious design can still be quietly romantic.
