Berets and Tams

Berets and their slouchier counterpart, the tam, brought softness and a touch of artistic flair to Fall 2026 street style. Berets remains amongst the most versatile hats in the classic repertoire; this season saw them styled with traditional tailoring or layered outerwear. Tams, with their looser, more draped shape, offered a gentler alternative for those drawn to the silhouette without the sharpness.

Newsboy Hats and Flat Caps

The newsboy hat and flat cap are also seeing a resurgence, particularly at Pitti Uomo and London Fashion Week. These styles pair exceptionally well with the heritage tailoring that defines Pitti Uomo’s street style aesthetic – classic overcoats, ties, and shirting; London street style shows they work also with more casual outfits.
