The Camiel Fortgens Spring 2026 Menswear collection was presented during Paris Menswear Fashion Week, the Amsterdam-based brand showing a set of looks featuring a subversive elegance. Unveiled with a runway show on the streets of Paris, the show merged urban life and movement with sartorial experimentation. The collection draws inspiration from American vintage archetypes – familiar forms reimagined through Fortgens’ lens of deconstruction and raw craftsmanship. Pieces feel laid-back yet considered, defined by shadow-like prints, fading effects, and the suggestion of logos that vanish in light. Models wore Asics Sportstyle sneakers, reconstructed flip-flops, and hole-punched accessories, all echoing the brand’s signature DIY spirit. A parallel installation inside a gallery featured models walking treadmills in front of a desert backdrop, offering a study of garments in motion. From exposed seams to deliberately unfinished research pieces, Fortgens’ Spring 2026 line blurs the line between concept and wearable design. It’s a study in imperfection as poetry – where process is visible, silhouettes are unfiltered, and authenticity defines luxury.
