Founded in 2017 by Haitian-German designer Zec Elie-Meire, COLRS is a brand rooted in multicultural expression, where playful irreverence meets punk edge. Zec’s distinctive, almost childlike aesthetic grew from humble beginnings – upcycling garments in his childhood bedroom – into a refined design language shaped by his training in men’s tailoring at ESMOD Paris. Since its runway debut in Lagos in 2020, COLRS has steadily built momentum, with notable appearances in Berlin’s New Wave showroom during Intervention by Reference Studios and the Berlin International Sales Showroom in Paris.
As the brand continues its evolution, Spring 2026 offered an intimate look behind the scenes. The backstage moments at COLRS revealed not just the craftsmanship and chaos of show day, but also the raw energy and vibrant vision that define Zec’s world. Here’s a closer look at what unfolded behind the curtain.
