First established in 1995, ALIS Spring 2026 is the pioneering Scandinavian skate brand’s third collection since its January 2025 relaunch. Under the creative direction of Tobias Birk Nielsen, the labelโs roots in streetwear remain deeply intact, but what we saw this season was more than a throwback.
Presented against the raw, rhythmic backdrop of Copenhagenโs urban shoreline, ALIS distilled its local legacy into a modern uniform: think oversized silhouettes, track sets with grit, reworked flannels, raw hems, and a fresh, nostalgic energy.
Styling focused on mixing contrasts – like tailored pinstripe trousers paired with flip-flops, classic boxy shirts tucked into loose track pants, and low-slung utility denim worn with wraparound scarves that double as tops. The outerwear popped in golden ochre corduroy, often paired with nothing but ALIS-branded briefs – a nod to bold minimalism. Footwear was particularly standout: fringed slippers, woven sandals, and retro-inspired trainers were styled with tube socks, reinforcing a sense of skater nonchalance that felt right at home by the water.
This wasnโt a performance – it was a summer evening in motion: collective, comfortable, and quietly powerful. Skate culture, reframed for right now.
