So a while ago I read an article saying that Gen Z are all about yellow as some sort of rebellion against Millenial Pink. Then today I came across an article that was asking if Gen Z would ever embrace yellow, so I guess you can’t really believe anything. (And here I am writing a blog expecting you to believe me. But anyway.)
But whatever the trends are for what generation, this whole thing started because I had a folder full of yellow runway looks from the 80s up to today. I put them all together into an Instagram reel, and I found some clothes, shoes and accessories that I fell in love with and have posted below – how yellow you want to get is up to you.
As for me, I’ve been debating whether or not to pre-order those JW Anderson x Wellipets Frog Loafers (the yellow ones are below). I really love the blue ones too, and I’ve been going back to the pre-order page for weeks now trying to make up my mind on which colour to get. Looking at the yellow ones again today, I think they might be the ones. Those Marni sabots are also really tempting though, and the Prada robot earrings…
