Milan Fashion Week is already underway as I’m posting this, but there’s still a few more days to go, so here are five more designers to look out for. The first five that I picked out on the Milan Fashion Week schedule are in this post.
22.09.2023 18:00 Vivetta
Vivetta Ponti launched her label in 2009, debuting at White Milano before being selected by Giorgio Armani to take part in a group show during Milan Fashion Week AW2015. Originally from Assisi, she moved to Florence to study at the Academy of Fine Arts, later furthering her studies in Bologna and Milan and working for a number of luxury brands where she fell in love with the embroidery and embellishment that would become trademarks of her label. Her designs have a romantic quality, inspired by her love of antiques, vintage toys and tapestries.[1] Images of Vivetta’s AW2023 collection are from Vogue Runway.
22.09.2023 18:00 Rovel
Rovel is an Australian designer who will be presenting his SS2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week. Based on black, white and grey hues and featuring voluminous and asymmetrical designs,[2] the collection is named ‘Rudyard Apathy’.[3] Images are from Rovel’s Instagram page.

23.09.2023 18:00 The Attico
The Attico was launched by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini in 2016 out of their shared love for glamour and sparkle.[7] The brand has seen incredible success, being sold at over 140 stockists worldwide. A sustainable capsule collection of upcycled vintage items was launched in 2019 in collaboration with Re/Done. Ambrosio and Tordini are planning to move into lifestyle products next.[8] Lookbook images are from Vogue Runway.
24.09.2023 09:30 HUI
Hui Zhou Zhau is a Chinese designer with a Master’s degree from Milan’s Polytechnic Institute. Also working as a stylist, she designs collections that are inspired by Asian embellishments mixed with minimalist design. Hui Zhou Zhau set up the Centennial Fashion Museum and the Hui Foundation showcasing designs of period costumes from the Qing Dynasty, embroidery of ethnic minorities up to the stage of the Republic of China, and items from the modern day.[9] Images are from Vogue Runway.
