After London, the next stop is Milan Fashion Week with a schedule that includes brands such as Fendi, Prada, Gucci, and Versace. There’s definitely some of the big names that I’m really looking forward to, but I wanted to highlight some newer or perhaps lesser known labels. This is the first set of five brands- there will be fifteen Milan Fashion Week brands in total.

Anteprima was founded in 1993 by Tokyo-born Izumi Ogino. In 1998 she was the first Japanese woman to join the Milan Collections. The brand’s signature style is the Wirebag, so-called as it is knit from wire, first introduced in 1998.[3]

Jezabelle Cormio graduated from the fashion design programme at the Royal Academy of Antwerp in 2013 and founded her label Cormio in 2019. Focusing mainly on knitwear in a wide range of colours, Cormio’s pieces have been worn by celebrities including Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodriguez.[4]

Andreadamo was launched in early 2020 by Andrea Adamo. From Crotone, Italy, he studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna and interned at Les Copains before going on to work at brands including Zuhair Murad and Dolce & Gabbana.[5]
