I recently published a set of 32 handbags from reseller websites and this is the second post, with one more to go. This time I’ve sorted the bags by shape.
There’s statement shapes, trapezoid bags, hobo-styles, clutches and minaudières, mini bags and backpacks.
Statement Shapes
Sometimes you just wanna make your bag the focus of your outfit – these two Moschino bags are perfect for that. There’s also unusual shapes to add interest – hearts, pyramids, and triangle pouches.
Trapezoid Bags
The trapezoid bag is longer on the bottom and shorter on the top, with diagonal sides – or it could be inverted, with a shorter bottom and longer top.
Hobo-style Bags
Hobo bags were really popular in the early to mid 2000s, and with Y2K fashion back on trend now, brands are bringing the style back – Prada have reissued their 2000 hobo style as the Re-Edition 2000 handbag – here’s a brand new one for sale.
Clutches and Minaudières
The main difference between clutches and minaudières is that the latter are more structured and rigid, and tend to be fancier and smaller. Clutch bags are softer and larger.
Mini Bags
Not the most useful of the bunch, but great for keeping your essentials close at hand when everything else is lost in a giant tote bag and you don’t want to spend ages rummaging about to find your phone.
Backpacks
Practical and convenient, you can just wear them and forget them – backpacks are great. Also this Versace backpack is so OTT that it’s amazing and I want it.
